Earth Day - To carry the momentum and joy of sharing and working together with the 350.org and other non-profits in the community concerned with the welfare of the earth, the Community Projects Committee officially represents the Inverness Garden Club in any event with this type on agenda on the appointed day. Often, there is music, dance and food at Toby's Feed Barn that day. Watch our column in the April Bee for further information about our participation. We hope to see you there.
Western Weekend - The Inverness Garden Club has had a float or entry in the Western Weekend Parade since the parade’s beginning and frequently has had the winning entry in the non-profit category.
Community Thanksgiving Dinner – Community Projects provides the tablecloths and table decorations for this community event.
Holiday Swags – Community Projects makes and distributes holiday greens (complete with colorful bows) to local public places such as libraries, post offices and medical offices and several non-profits.
